Clonex® is a high performance, water-based, rooting compound developed by Growth Technology™ Ltd. It is a tenacious gel which will remain in contact around the stem, sealing the cut tissue and supplying the hormones needed to promote root cell development and vitamins to protect the delicate new root tissue.

Clonex® has a full spectrum of mineral nutrients and trace elements to nourish the young roots during their important formative stages. Our scientific breakthrough puts Clonex® Rooting Gel years ahead of manufacturers of old fashioned hormones and powders.

Clonex® Rooting Gel is and has been the foremost product in its field since its launch in 1989. It is known and respected the world over and has been used to produce at least 1,000,000,000 individual plant clones during that period of time, successfully cloning virtually every species of plant known to man.

Clonex® Rooting Gel has succeeded because the formulation has been fine-tuned over hundreds of experiments to give the explosive root development that serious growers and plant nurseries now depend upon for successful and profitable plant propagation. Clonex® Rooting Gel is completely alcohol-free.

Clonex® Rooting Gel is available in 15ml single use packets, as well as 100ml, 250ml, 16 ounce, and 32 ounce wide mouth bottles. 15ml single use packets treat approximately 50 cuttings.

Clonex®Rooting Gel is registered with the EPA.  With this registration, Clonex is approved for use on all plants, including food crops, in all 50 states plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico!

Creating new plants through asexual propagation, or "cloning", is a successful and widely used horticultural technique that allows plant growers and gardeners to reproduce faithful copies of a source plant, otherwise known as a "mother plant". In this process, stem or leaf cuttings are taken from the mother plant, the cut being treated with Clonex®Rooting Gel, then stuck into a rooting medium. In a short time, new roots develop from the Clonex® treated cut area, and a new plant bearing the identical genetic characteristics of the mother plant, is born. Cloning plants is extremely useful in the mass production of seedlings for transplanting, and for the faithful reproduction of plants that don't reproduce true from seed.
